Ministry Gift: Pastor | prophetic teacher | Inspired by both the word of God and the ecclesia community. The first three years of my salvation 1992-1994) were spent observing the people of God in the Church and in silence. The Holy Spirit ministered to me via open visions, dreams, intense bible study, prayer, fasting, obedience, tithing, seed sowing, and meditating on the word of God. Subsequently, confirmation of the call of God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I never knew that God would use someone like me who had lived the polar opposite of God’s nature and character. What is more, I am fully persuaded that there is nothing too hard for the Lord. “Is anything too hard for the Lord? Genesis 18:14 (KJB).

Vocation: My vocation is to families and my mission is to make disciples by teaching them how to depend on God and (not on me) but rather on the finished work of Christ and His anointing.

Evangelical Statement: Jesus is Lord and the head of the Church and the word of God is the final power and authority on earth and in heaven.  “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence” Colossians 1:18 King (KJV).

Water baptism, spirituality, and transformation are essential (Acts 2:38; Jude 1:20).  Faith, community involvement, humanitarianism, intercessory prayer, excellence, the love of God, honoring men and women of God, and humility are a must. Further, the way up is still down and the greatest influence in my life is the Holy Spirit and God always anoints according to the need of His people.

Acknowledgments

Bishop Drs. Donald and Evangelist Ethel M.  LaBranche
Full Gospel Evangelism Outreach Ministries E.O.M. was the Church I joined at age 24 and the LaBranche’s were my first ministerial teachers apart from my late mother (Missionary Mary L. Buckner-Furlow) and my late maternal grandmother (Fannie Mae Morgan-Buckner). These women imparted humility, prayer, holiness, and taught me the essence of fasting and it was through their teaching that I received a foundation in the word of God and discipleship. I was later licensed by the LaBranche’s to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1997.

Apostle Steven and Apostle Valerie Davis
Greater Works Church Inc. (A Crusaders Ministry) spoke life into me and stirred up the prophetic gift, teaching, prophesying, and intercessory prayer in me. Steven and Valerie Davis ordained me in 1998.

Pastor Earl and Evangelist Clarice Grandberry
True Rock Ministries taught me how to exercise my faith. True Rock is where I learned about sacrificial giving and how to apply the word of God to my life and see the manifestation of the Lord’s doing in such a way that my life changed in multiple ways. I also met my husband Timothy there and we both served in this ministry for ten years. Timothy served as Armor Bearer and Security to our pastors. 2001-2010.

Pastor Drs. William “Bill” and Veronica Winston
I became a member of the Living Word Christian Center (LWCC)  in October 2010 and completed 11 weeks of foundation and intercessory prayer classes.  Next, I attended weekly Saturday morning prayer and I volunteered with the Volunteer Services Center pro re nata. In summation, I would be remiss to not mention that LWCC is the most well-rounded ministry I have ever experienced; thus, this ministry has helped crystallize my call to pastoring. Furthermore, I became a part of the Faith Ministries Alliance (FMA) 2017-Present.

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV).
